a sleepy face.

This is the face of A Sleepy Kat (HA) with messily-attempted eyeliner from this morning's rush to get ready. My eyelashes and cheekbones seem to be working for me here! Sorry. Is that vain? I wouldn't know.

I'm so tired. *collapses* It's my own fault - I was up most of the night finishing the first season of Friday Night Lights. Oops. Somehow I managed to drag myself to uni on time this morning and then I spent the remainder of the day wandering around the shops aimlessly, putting off the dreaded walk home up the mountain. (Also known as the steep hill. I'm dramatic.)

What a large photo of my face. I apologise for the intrusion. See my new helix piercing. And the bags under my eyes. (I'm a class act.)

Spring, I'm ready for you!

Ahh, my lovely bed. Excuse me while I go and push everything off it and crawl under the covers. It's bedtime, dammit.

My Winnie the Pooh post is still in the works. Keep an ear out! xox

  1. I'd say that is one swell room you have there. The pale blue and white colour schemes are very simplistic yet beautiful, if I do say so myself. And as expected, I see Winnie the Pooh in the corner. :)

  2. Thank you! Interior design and decoration has always been a hobby of mine. I have been obsessed with making my room cosy ever since I could move a bed. And I love the minimal thing. I can't stand too much clutter. Yes! There he is. :)

  7. This isn't actually my first time watching FNL but anyway - Lyla! Also Tim, Coach, Matt & Tyra. And maybe Julie when she isn't being a pissy little shit, haha.

  9. When I watched the show a few years ago I loved her and thought people were being silly when they called her annoying! But omg, I wanted to punch her so many times during the first season. And tbh I think Matt can probs do better but I love Matt/Julie anyway haha.

  10. I loved her too and still do but it's so much easier to see what a brat she is sometimes now that I'm older. Matt could get anyone tbh.. he's so lovely.

  15. here are a few pictures of my room: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kchelovesjd/sets/72157635326782233/ some things definitely need to be changed, like my window valance (it was for my old bedding and i haven't found a new one yet haha) and would love to change the posters above my shelf since i have a habit of changing my walls a lot and those have been up since last year. i'm hoping i will get to make a trip to ikea sometime this year because i really want an expedit bookcase.

  16. wahhh! your room is lovely! the lights and the cranes and the blue/white combo! :) also, i spy tigger! ngl i'm really jealous of your giant bed. i can't fit anything bigger in mine, boo.

  17. hehe thanks!! i got the crane idea from your room and decided to do them in white and loved them so much. the one thing that bothers me about my huge bed, is that i can't really move it due to having a whole wall of just closets and not enough wall space but the bed is just so big and comfy. ♥ aww boo on your small room. :(

  18. ahhh, yeah I feel you with that. I have a similar problem - I have these french doors made of glass which are lovely, but they take up a whole wall and then I have my closet on another wall and so there's basically only one place I can put my bed. Kind of sucks for an obsessive furniture-rearranger (lol) like me. But omg, after having read the Ikea catalogue and posted this, I really really really really really want the double bed I mentioned in this post. (1b). I am honestly even considering moving downstairs into the shitty basement-type no-light room just so I can fit it. I'm clearly insane!

  19. you aren't totally insane because i would do the same just to have lots of space to be able to move stuff around a lot hehe. but i don't know if i would live without the light because i love natural light. i would love to steal your french doors because they are perfect.

  20. I have changed my mind. I'm with you - I need the light. And I'm pretty emotionally attached to my room so hahahhaa. Last night I was feeling so unsatisfied so I sifted through the catalogs and websites again...... and then I realised all I needed to do was pick the clothes up off my floor and vacuum the carpet. Magic!!!!!! Lol I'm clever.
They are pretty neat! However we lost the key so they don't actually open..... :/

  21. i want an apartment with lots of big windows just to have to much natural light all over. haha it's amazing how cleaning can help a room. oh no... you can't open it from the inside either?

    ReplyDelete
  22. YES YES YES I agree 100%. I actually just went downstairs to inspect and there is a lot of light but it doesn't get any direct sunlight, which is what I have now in the mornings. So that's a downside. Plus it's my brother's old room so it's full of his junk and desperately needs a clean and a repaint. Which means effort. HAHA.
Nope, I can't! But it doesn't bother me :) I still have the light!
